Terms & Conditions
Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions. By entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions and have agreed to their details being communicated to the Promoter’s representatives so that the Promoter or its representatives can contact the participant in connection with the promotion (as necessary). Please retain a copy for your information.
1. PROMOTER: This promotion is operated by Co-operative Group Limited a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 with registration number 26715R whose registered office is at 1 Angel Square, Manchester, M60 0AG. Any reference to ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ in these Terms and Conditions should mean the Co-operative Group Food Limited.
2. OPENING AND CLOSING DATE: The Promotion Period runs from 01/06/2026 00:01 – 15/06/2026 23:59. Any entries made outside of the Promotion Period will not be valid and will not be entered into this promotion.
3. ELIGIBILITY: This prize draw is open to members of the Co-operative Group Limited only (“Co-op Members”) who are residents of the United Kingdom. Entrants must be aged 18 or over. Co-op employees can enter however Co-op employees and employees of its agencies directly connected with the creation and administration of this prize draw are excluded. We may ask the winners to provide proof of age.
4. HOW TO ENTER: To enter the prize draw, members must:
i. Access the Co-op App between the opening and closing date,
ii. Click the link on the discover tab to continue to the game, complete the game and;
iii. Fill in the survey once decided.
Members can attempt the game multiple times to be entered into the prize draw or skip the game to be entered into the prize draw. Members can only enter the prize draw once during this promotional period.
5. PRIZES: There is one prize available consisting of:
i. £1000 credit to be added to the winners Co-op Member wallet and;
ii. One pair of festival tickets to one of the following festivals: Klarna presents Latitude Festival, Pepsi Max presents Reading and Leeds Festivals, Pepsi MAX presents Creamfields Festival.
5.1 Prizes are provided at our discretion, and we may substitute or change it for a prize of an equivalent or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
5.2 The £1000 credit can only be spent in a Co-op Food store or online as shop.coop.co.uk. The £1000 credit is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative can be requested. The tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, cannot be exchanged, and are not for resale.
5.3 The prize does not include travel to and from any of the festivals, food and drink, and travel insurance. Valid ID and additional entry requirements of the ticket issuer, event organiser or other third party may be required before you are allowed entry to the event, and you may be refused entry if you do not provide suitable photographic ID (such as passport or driving license).
5.4 Use of tickets may be subject to additional terms and conditions of the ticket issuer, event organiser or other third party. Instructions on how to redeem each element of the prize will be made available at the point of notifying the winners. It is the responsibility of the winners to redeem their digital tickets after they are provided with the corresponding code and link.
6. WINNER SELECTION: one winner will be drawn using a randomised computer process within 2 weeks of the close date.
7. NOTIFICATION: If you win, you will be notified by email from competitionsupport@coop.co.uk notifying the email address you provided when entering the prize draw within 2 weeks of being winner being drawn. If a winner does not respond to us within three (3) working days of being notified, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be picked at random from the remaining eligible entries. The Promoter accepts no responsibility where a participant enters incomplete or incorrect information on the entry form.
8. DECISIONS OF THE PROMOTERS: If there is any dispute about the receipt or validity of any entry or any other aspect of the promotion, this will be decided by us. Our decision regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. We are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions. We reserve the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond our control. The Promoters are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.
9. WINNERS LIST: The winners’ surname and respective counties of residence can be obtained by sending an email to competitionsupport@coop.co.uk no earlier than 4 weeks or later than 6 weeks of the winners being drawn. By entering, winners consent to such information being disclosed upon request. You have the right to ask that we stop any consent-based processing of your personal data after you withdraw that consent.
10. AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Entry to this promotion shall constitute your acceptance of these terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them. These terms and conditions take effect immediately upon entry to the promotion. These terms and conditions prevail in the event of a conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.
11. DISQUALIFICATION: We reserve the right to reject any entry, withhold any prize and disqualify you from the promotion if we reasonably suspect you of failing to comply with these terms and conditions or of fraud, cheating or dishonesty, without limitation, through the manipulation of codes, multiple computer-generated entries, or otherwise fraudulently falsifying data or acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the Promoter’s opinion. Entries must be made personally. Entries made through agents/third-parties, bulk entries or automated entries are invalid.
12. NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ENTRIES NOT RECEIVED: The Promoters accept no responsibility for lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or delayed entries and such entries will be void. The Promoters cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the entry route. We accept no responsibility for entries not successfully received by us, or which are delayed, due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network, or server failure of any kind whether or not such failure is within the control of the Promotor or its agents. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.
13. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ADMINISTER PROMOTION: By entering this promotion, you agree to us collecting and using your personal data. We, and any third-party agencies acting on our behalf, may collect personal information from you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable data privacy laws. Except as set out below in the USE OF PERSONAL AND OTHER INFORMATION FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES clause, we, other members of the Co-operative Group Limited will only use your information for the purposes of administering this promotion. 14. USE OF PERSONAL AND OTHER INFORMATION FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES: By entering this promotion, you agree that if you win, we, other members of the Co-operative Group Limited and third party agencies acting on our behalf, may use your entry, name, photo or image, county of residence, any testimonial you have provided to us, and recorded phone call for promotional purposes (including on our websites, social media, within our magazines or within promotional emails). 15. CANCELLATION OR WITHDRAWAL OF PROMOTION: We reserve the right at our absolute discretion to withdraw or cancel this promotion without prior notice and without liability to any party if it becomes necessary to do so.
16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Revised terms and conditions will be available at coop.co.uk/terms/insurancegame2026 It is your responsibility to keep up to date with any such changes.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: All conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law or otherwise in connection with the prize and the promotion are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law and the Promoters shall be under no liability whatsoever or howsoever arising in connection with any loss, damage or injury, directly or indirectly occurring as a result of the provision of, or use of, the prize. We make no attempt to exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury arising as a result of negligence.
18. RELEVANT LAW: This promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts if any dispute arises.
19. GENERAL: The Promoters are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions. We cannot guarantee that the event will be free from disruptions, failings, or cancellations. We are not liable for such disruptions, failings, or cancellations unless they are caused by our negligence.
